Last year several WNC committee members took part in the ‘Clubs with Heart Program’, a 6 week multi-sport interactive webinar series hosted by SALT (Sport And Life Training) and funded by Bendigo Bank.

A Club with Heart wants to be successful on the court and to produce great players who complete with heart. More importantly it is a safe, inclusive, respectful, caring community, where people feel valued and develop to their full potential. It is a club that reaches to the hearts of people.

WNC is striving to be a true Club with Heart, deeply understanding our greater purpose and how we can best attract, serve and equip our wider community to be successful and fulfilled in our sport and in life.

EVERY single person involved in WNC matters, and is part of this journey. We will be seeking your input several times over the coming months, as we work together to create our story, overcome barriers, and build the structures, behaviours, and leaders we need to build greatness on and off the court.

The first of these is happening this week at training, with our junior players being asked to answer the simple question “why do you play netball?”
